meterhelper.com:
Collected content for the next generation-you.
This web site is an organic growth of techniques I used for many decades. Starting with "help" files before the internet, it evolved from text files to floppy disks, then zip disks, then CDs, to DVDs to USB drives ..... into web sites.
I found collecting tutorials, manuals and other technical information into one spot , accessed with a click of a button, speeded up my work with clients, especially during meetings and training seminars. Maybe it can help you as well.
Having an extensive backlog of content, this site will be continuing to expand for many years to come. While the products in some of the application notes are old, the methods and ways of thinking about troubleshooting are relatively timeless.
If you are interested in training or troubleshooting on any of the topics here, please let me know. I've conducted hundreds of seminars, and solved some difficult challenges with people over the years. Two of the more public examples include
- how to quickly identify potentially lethal stray voltage on street sewer plates, poles, and fences,
- and another is how to troubleshoot traffic light intersection problems that began when switching from incandescent to LED array traffic light bulbs.
Intermittent transients are another issue found to cause all sorts of "once in a while" shut-downs of critical systems.
Please use the contact form in the main menu, or simply email me at meterhelper101@gmail.com.
Some of the pages on this site will link to my new venture, automationretrofits.com, due to issues with the ISP I've used for this site for a long time.
Thank you for checking out this site.
